My parents, grandparents and great-grandparents were farmers in the Dauphin area and I grew up as the fourth generation in this farming family. As a child I helped with our egg operation and as I got older, I helped with the cattle and grain operation. As I got older, I moved away from the farm, but always maintained an active interest in farming, which influenced the direction of my legal career. For most of my career, I have focused on farming families and their business operations, providing services in a broad range of areas including parenting plans that are tailored to the unique circumstances of farming families, family property division matters, income determination and support issues and farm restructuring and transitions, as well as estate planning for farmers and their families.
