BEHRNS, Sylvia: B. Acc., CPA, CA

I graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Accounting in 2013 and shortly after I started working at a small firm in Goderich. In 2016, I earned my CA designation and started working at Ward & Uptigrove in the business department. I transitioned to the Agricultural Department in 2018.

I currently live in Listowel and volunteer on the North Perth Regional Community Committee on behalf of the United Way of Perth-Huron.

I grew up in Clinton, Ontario which is surrounded by farming. As a child I frequently visited my grandparents and aunt and uncle’s farms. My parents ran a construction business and had many farm clients over the years. I worked at a small firm in Goderich for three years and gained experience with a few farm clients. After two years of working at Ward & Uptigrove, I took an opportunity to work in the Agricultural Department where I have been working with farm clients since 2018.
