Throughout university, Cody gained valuable experience from working on his family’s cattle farm and from part-time positions in residential and agricultural construction trades. Following graduation from the University of Manitoba he was employed by Phoenix Agri-Tec in the risk management department, with a specific focus on cattle, hogs, and grain. During Cody’s time at Agri-Tec he gained knowledge in various sectors of the agricultural industry, knowledge which continues to be an asset in his work doing agricultural appraisals. Cody holds an AACI designation and completes point in time appraisals throughout Manitoba, with his main focus on Agriculture.
Cody grew up on a cattle farm and is still involved with the operation on a part-time basis. Cody also owns his own yearlings which are rotational grazed each summer. Cody has been involved with agriculture since he was a young child, and still is involved to this day, whether hands on, or through the appraisal industry.
