After Caroline’s first year of University she decided to go into Agriculture, at first it was because she was planning on getting into the Greenhouse industry but that changed once she graduated from the U of M. Caroline ended up working for a hog management company out of Niverville where she worked in the office as the logistics coordinator for hog shipments. She also was in charge or ordering all supplies for the barns including medications as well as being in charge of accounts payable. After 3 years with this company Caroline moved over to the SCU as Agricultural Support Officer where she assisted two Agricultural Account Managers by creating credit applications, entering & analyzing financial information and security. She also completed all account reviews for the two account managers she assisted. Caroline was in this role for 8 years before she moved up to an Agricultural Account Manager role, which she has been doing for three years. This role allows her to build strong relationships with the members she deal with and assist them in achieving their financial and farm business goals. Caroline loves her role as she is a people person and really enjoys dealing with SCU members and having the opportunity to tour many different farm operations.
I’m from Steinbach, currently live in Mitchell with my husband and 8-year-old son.
