Growing up on my family’s laying hen and cash crop farm has led to several opportunities to work with farm families in Southwestern Ontario. Throughout high school, I was a part of the Agriculture Specialists High Skill Major program which exposed me to various types of farms and agricultural businesses. Throughout my time at university, I worked for Syngenta Canada as an Agronomic Sales Intern for two summers where I helped farmers make decisions regarding replants, resprays, crop injury, and variety selection. As an Egg Farmers of Ontario Ambassador, I have interacted with egg farmers as well as the community for educational purposes. In April 2020, I started my agricultural finance journey with RBC Royal Bank as an Agriculture Account Manager Intern in Southwestern Ontario where I have been assisting farmers with their financial needs to attain their future goals.
