Dwayne Scott obtained his certified general accountant designation in 2002 while working as a controller for a small-medium sized business and joined Wilkinson Rogers LLP shortly thereafter, working there close to 19 years. He holds a dual diploma in business – administration and accounting.
Dwayne’s primary focus was providing accounting and tax advice to Wilkinson Rogers’s agricultural clients and he is very excited to join the MNP Parkhill team working with Rick Hamilton and his team to focus more on his passion, working with agriculture clients. With his upbringing on a farm and current participation in his family’s farming operation, just north of Parkhill he is able to provide advice while being able to easily relate with the agricultural community. He also provides accounting and tax advice to small and medium-size businesses, and personal tax preparation.
Dwayne is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family and actively participates in their upbringing. He enjoys coaching his children’s various athletic activities and strongly believes in a balance between work and family life. When time allows a day at the farm working beside brother, mother and now son is something he looks forward to and can’t wait until the next opportunity arises to do it again. Dwayne is committed to providing his clients with strong, solid and realistic advice and continues to look to grow his client base.
