My career to-date is an ongoing culmination of formal, informal education, and experience that has bolstered my lifelong passion for agriculture and admiration of those who live and work to put food on our tables. I am proud to be an extended part of what is now the 5th generation of a family that immigrated to Canada and started farming in 1905. That family foundation led me through my undergraduate Agricultural studies at UBC, some Masters level studies in Livestock production and Animal Health, and ultimately my P.Ag designation with the BC Institute of Agrologists.
I came to RBC with over 3 years’ experience in BC’s Dairy Industry as a Field Rep with the BC Milk Marketing Board. I also have a lifetime of personal and professional experience in the equine industry as well. I spent close to 15 years riding competitively in Dressage, I coached, trained and sold horses. During that time I spent 8 years working as a veterinary assistant and practice manager for a prominent equine veterinarian in Langley, BC. In 2008 I moved onto a role as a Territory Sales Manager for Vetoquinol, an Animal Health Pharmaceutical company. I joined the Milk Board in 2009 which ultimately led me to the RBC Fraser Valley Agriculture team in early 2013. It is my privilege to be in this capacity today where I can work with a team that can and does have a direct impact on Agriculture in our region.
