Ryan Eyre – SoilOptix®
Ryan grew up on a 6th generation family farm in Eastern Ontario and studied Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo. He focused on GIS, had a passion for real-time strategy games and even qualified for the University’s Starcraft collegiate squad. He now combines his interest in programming and machine learning with his love for agriculture doing high-tech precision soil mapping and data management with SoilOptix. His presentation will highlight the technology that is driving agriculture today, with a discussion on what this means for Ontario farmers.
