OKANAGAN Farm Advisor Meeting

November 7, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am CST

The vision is to Re-start a CAFA Chapter here in the Okanagan and base it out of Kelowna. Meetings will be scheduled every 6 weeks with the 1st meeting to take place 9:00am November 7, 2019. In the case road conditions are poor, we will offer the meeting via conference call to individuals who is outside of 35kms from Kelowna. However, in person attendance will be encouraged for the purposes of networking.

 

The 1st meeting will be held at 620-1620 Dickson Avenue, Kelowna. If we require a larger venue in the event of higher interest, we will revisit the venue at that time.

The 1st meeting will be an introduction to CAFA and our intentions or vision for the chapter.

 

On-gong meetings will be at no cost to CAFA members.

  • Farm taxation & tax changes
  • Financial statements – why quality matters
  • Farm / family succession
  • Wills and estates
  • Debt structure
  • Marketing
  • Value chain
