Lyndon Lisitza, Co-founder and CEO of Meatocracy


Lyndon Lisitza is an experienced and passionate entrepreneur based in Regina, Saskatchewan. He co‐founded Meatocracy in June 2020, stepping into the CEO role. Prior to that he was a Project Manager and Market Analyst for Canterra Capital in Regina, SK. In this role he directed and lead the development and implementation of farmland optimization projects, including tile drainage, tree removal and asset repositioning projects.


Before taking the position with Canterra in 2016 he also founded Renterra.ca, an online farmland rental auction platform that helps landowners find tenants and negotiate pricing and lease terms.


Prior to founding Renterra.ca Lyndon worked for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture. He was a provincial expert on issues related to grain marketing and logistics. He also authored the final provincial submission for the 2012 federal regulatory review of the western Canadian grain handling and transportation system.


Lyndon’s focus has always been identifying market inefficiencies in the agricultural space and developing solutions to address them in the most transparent and fair manner.


During his presentation Lyndon will provide insight into the rapidly evolving development of Canadian carbon credit markets, identifying potential ag related opportunities and outcomes related to the development of a federal compliance carbon market.



Kayla Gillis, Financial Consultant, IG Wealth Management


Kayla joined IG Wealth Financial in November 2020 as a Financial Consultant. She has over 15 years’ experience in various roles in the Agricultural and Finance Industry. Kayla has an excellent insight in the Ag Industry as she grew up on a farm near Oakburn, MB, and is currently farming with her husband Tyson in the Dauphin MB area.


Kayla has held positions with companies like Global Ag Risk Solutions, Dow Argo Sciences, Fusion Credit Union and the Ag Canada Research Centre. She is also very involved in her community and serves as the President of Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival for the past 6 years.


Kayla loves helping individuals and giving advice to better each situation. She sees her Financial Consultant role as a great opportunity to continue to work towards enhancing her career and helping individuals.


Kayla is going to talk about investments products such as TFSA, AgriInvest accounts etc.
